The summer swim team season opens on the heels of Memorial Day weekend (and the night before practice begins) with a pizza party, information session for parents, and get-to-know-you games and open swim for kids at the RRC Pool. Pizza, side dishes, drinks, and dessert are available for swimmers and their families (included in the registration fee).

In addition to dinner and pool fun, parents attend an information session while coaches get to know the swimmers. A copy of this handbook, team t-shirts, and (if ordered) swim caps will be distributed.

The opening party this year will be held on Tuesday, May 27 at 5:00 PM at the RRC Pool (or indoors on the grounds of RRC in the event of inclement weather).
