Drop-Off Policy

• Practice: A parent (or designee) of swimmers ages 6 and under must remain on deck during the entire practice. Those who are ride-sharing with children in this age group must be aware that the transporting adult is responsible for the children they bring to the pool. We recommend that parents of swimmers ages 11 and under or their designees stay close by the facility. Swimmers ages 12 years and older may participate without a parent in attendance. Coaching staff have access to a list of emergency phone numbers should a problem arise.
• Meets: If a swimmer is participating in a swim meet, a parent/adult is expected to attend the meet and volunteer. 

Schedule Adjustments

It may be necessary due to scheduling conflicts, facility conditions, inclement weather, or other issues to adjust our practice schedule. The Coaches and TSA Representative(s) will make the decision and communicate this information to the team in as timely a manner as possible. Due to the nature and timing of these conditions, we may have little to no notice. As such, this notification may take place by email, text message (via GroupMe), or even in person.

If you have a question about a weather delay or cancellation for a meet or practice, please wait for an announcement. A Coach or RRC staff will be in contact with the pool staff to make any weather-related decisions, and the TSA Representative(s) will coordinate with opposing swim teams to assist in making any meet schedule changes or updates. We will communicate this information by GroupMe and email as soon as we are able. The weather can change quickly, and we may be unable to communicate any information prior to an actual cancellation. Further, conditions may be different depending on your location. Please use your best judgement and take appropriate actions for the safety of yourself and your family.
