Good Evening, Racquetfish Families:

Our first meet is tomorrow night against Black Horse Run ("BHR"), and our swimmers were looking pretty ready for it at practice tonight!

Below please find pool location and report time, other reminders, and the volunteer lineup. The heat sheet will follow tomorrow; though, you should be able to see your swimmer's events in the Swimtopia app. In case of last-minute illness or emergency, let Coach Christian know at your earliest convenience.

1. Time & Location: 5:00pm report time @11701 Black Horse Run, Raleigh, NC 27613. Check in all swimmers and volunteers with ME when you arrive to confirm your swimmer’s presence and intention to swim all their events; please TEXT me at 919-901-7167 if you’re running behind and won’t be there by 5:30pm--if your swimmer is on the heat sheet and I haven't heard from you, we'll have to take them off at that time to make subs ahead of the meet start. Notes from Black Horse Run: Road dead-ends at a "T" intersection after 120 yards; clubhouse will then be facing you, and the pool is immediately behind the clubhouse. BHR will leave the parking lot open for the visiting team (us!)—the lot is behind and to the sides of the clubhouse. BHR will have blocked a few spots off in front of the fence (side near diving blocks) on the right side of the clubhouse with cones and have asked that we do not park in these spots, as they’ll be overflow seating for both teams. Reminder that even if the forecast looks ominous, we are required to show up and make weather calls on deck.
2. Other Notes from BHR: Our setup area is on the far side of the pool deck under the covered shelter/near restrooms. All furniture will be removed, so BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS!
3. What to Bring: Reference the handbook! Critical are black team suit, goggles (and backups!), towel(s), and team t-shirt and swim cap. Noted above, but BHR suggests bringing chairs if you want to sit!
4. Concessions: BHR has a concession stand offering burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, pizza, candy and ice cream, drinks, etc. Cash and cards accepted.
5. NO 6 & Under Fly Race or Parent/Coach Relay this week. BHR stated a desire to get Canes fans home ASAP. ;)
6. Volunteer Lineup/Instructions: If you’re new to volunteering, welcome! Pick up a clipboard with a heat sheet and pen (if needed for your role) at our table when you arrive. BHR will hold a volunteer meeting (all volunteers from both teams) at 5:40pm in their clubhouse--only exception is that kid pushers will meet with Riley Bingham on the pool deck for instructions. The lineup is as follows:
