Lots of communication coming your way about a busy last couple of weeks for our Racquetfish family. Action items for you in RED TEXT… :) 

1. End of Season Banquet, 7/17: Weather permitting, we’ll hold this fun season closer at the pool with a fabulous buffet a la Chef Jason, awards, coach gifts, and a team photo. Please RSVP here by THIS THURSDAY, 7/10 to let us know if we should expect you—Jason will plan food according to the YES responses: https://rrc.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

2. Coach Gifts: The fabulous Carrie Drstvensek is taking up a collection for coach gifts for the fabulous Ella, Sadie, Christian, Sofia, and Heather. You see how much heart, skill, and patience they pour into our kids—let’s show them how much we appreciate it. You can Venmo Carrie @Carrie-Drstvensek (last 4 digits of phone: 3602) or pass her (or me) cash/check at practice or meets. Deadline to give is end of the night at our last meet next Tuesday, 7/15.

3. TSA Championship Meet: From GroupMe chatter, there are several families interested in participating in this optional meet on Sunday, 7/20–so our coaches are in! This is an exciting opportunity for the kids to swim at the Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC) in Cary in a big meet setting alongside kids right around their time/ability level. If you’d like to participate, you can read more about it here: https://tsa.swimtopia.com/2025-tsa-championship-meet and RSVP your swimmer(s) no later than this Wednesday night to the appropriate age session(s) here: https://rrc.swimtopia.com/swim_meets. Unlike our regular meets, no RSVP = not swimming… so be sure to RSVP if you want to participate! There is a $10 fee per swimmer, $6.50 fee per individual event, and $2.50 fee per swimmer in a relay; families will be responsible for these fees. Coach Ella will be sending out more information about this and another exciting opportunity for our swimmers this week.
