RSVP Reminder and Exciting Announcements
Hello Racquetfish Families!
We had a great first week on our full morning and afternoon practice schedule. At Blackhorse run and at practice each day, our swimmers have been killing it in the water and are already dropping time and making big improvements to their strokes.
A reminder to please RSVP by tonight if you haven't already to our first home meet this Tuesday with the Wendell Waves! If we don't hear otherwise, we operate under the assumption that your swimmer will be attending, so let me know ASAP if something changes after the RSVP has closed and you cannot attend.
Also note that even with little ones in tow - swimmers who are swimming in a freestyle relay at the end of the meet need to stay and swim that relay to make it possible for the rest of the children in the relay to be able to swim their race too. It is an option when RSVP'ing to opt-out of late relays.
This week we were joined by Coach Heather, the newest addition to the RRC Swim Staff. She will be at afternoon practices and meets, please give her a warm welcome!
Last but not least, if you have a 9&Up swimmer, make sure to attend afternoon practice on Wednesday, 6/25, because we will be joined by a year-round swim coach, John McDonald, who is giving our kids a swim clinic. This is an awesome opportunity that your swimmer will not want to miss!
Thank you for all your support for our team and for letting us spend time with your amazing swimmers. Go Raquetfish!
Best,
Ella Ludwig
