RSVP Policy and Important Information for the Upcoming Week
Hello Racquetfish Families!
Our first meet was our first WIN this week in Zebulon!! I am so proud of our swimmers for their sportsmanship, effort, and enthusiasm. Thank you to all of our parents and volunteers for making the meet happen!
Although we had awesome success this past meet, several no-shows created challenges for our volunteers and coaching staff. Having to make last minute on-deck changes to the heat sheet when people don’t show up creates a very stressful situation and prevents our meets from running smoothly.
If you are NOT attending a meet, we need to know. RSVPs for this Tuesday’s meet have closed, if you are not attending and have not RSVP’d, please email me at [email protected] as soon as you’re able. RRC operates on an opt-IN system, which means unless we have heard from you otherwise, we are going to assume you are attending the meet. For day-of emergencies/cancellations, please text my cell at 984-500-7107. Any notice is better than none, and RSVP’ing in advance is always best. We want to create the best team experience for everyone that we can and communication is key to making that happen.
Looking ahead to next week, note that our first morning practice will be offered this Monday, June 16th. 8:30-9am for the Guppies, 9am-10am for 8&Under, 10am-11am for 9&Up. We will have morning practice Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in addition to our normal afternoon times.
Our meet this Tuesday is at Blackhorse Run, and I am so excited for another opportunity to see our swimmers killing it in the pool! We are in need of 3 more timers for Tuesday’s meet, and the job signup on Swimtopia remains open. Heat sheets and meet details will be sent out in the next few days. I look forward to seeing you all there very soon.
Warmly,
Ella Ludwig
